World Around Us Child Care Centers Inc. was developed in 1992 with a vision of a child's dream.
​
I just know that there is a little girl out there that will be talking about those of us here today. She will remember how much we supported and encouraged her and her family, how we fostered their dreams, our dreams, and those of the community.
​
This little girl won't say that we created a curriculum specifically designed to teach her colors and letters so she was ready for school when she turned five.
​
She will say that we provided her with an environment and a program that surrounded her with nourishment and beauty, with intellectual stimulation, as well as the social connections and, resources for a successful and joyful life.
​
She will say that we encouraged her hopes and dreams. That we also sparked an urge to become excited about learning and exploring.
​
That what we did was not just a minimum, but the best we could have possibly done.
We exceeded her wildest expectations and were committed to changing her little world.

That's my vision for our World Around Us Child Care Programs and the children who call this place their second home.

We provide a nurturing, flexible, safe, calm atmosphere where
self-concept is enhanced.
We develop an active curiosity about the world in which your child lives, we encourage an enthusiasm for learning which stimulates exploratory behavior and creativity, involvement in our community, and learning about our environment.
We develop growth through singing songs, finger plays, dance, music, pretend play, and learn to care for one another.
We promote intellectual growth through an enhanced curriculum, including music, American Sign Language, Spanish, faith-based curriculum, and introduction to computers.
