Ms. Pam has experience in geriatric nursing and was a Registered Nurse in long term care for over 30 years. Ms. Pam has been with WAU since 2021.She loves caring for people and babies at World Around Us. Her 2 daughters are former students at WAU.
Ms. Leah has a passion for taking care of children. She has been volunteering in the nursery at her church for over six years, and she is also the assistant director of children's ministries. She has taken several classes at Century College, as well as, Arizona State University for Early Childhood Education and is looking forward to use what she has learned with the children in her care.
Ms. Connie was married for 49 years, has 6 children, 5 boys, 1 girl and many grandchildren. She was an Interior Designer for 23 years and ran a home daycare for 5 years. Ms. Connie started to work at WAU in 2017. She has lots of experience with children.
Ms. Sara is most passionated about teaching children how to be strong caring individuals. Ms. Sara has been with WAU since 2016. Her favorite part of teaching is when she helps a child succeed at an obstacle and watch them fill with joy an excitement when they realize that they did it.
Ms. Kimmy attended Century College and has a
Para Education Associate's degree. Ms. Kimmy loves working with children and being a teacher is her passion. She enjoys making a lot of art projects with the little ones. Ms. Kimmy has been with WAU since 2021.
Young Preschool Classroom
Ms. Taylor is from Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Ms. Taylor has many years of experience as a nanny. She has worked with children with varying skills. Ms. Taylor enjoys watching the little ones development. She has been with WAU since 2021.
Ms. Emilee has a Degree from Crown College in Early Childhood Education. She has with WAU since 2017.
Getting messy and having fun in class is what she does best. At her free time she plays hockey, volunteers at her church with teens, plays hockey and likes to go snowmobiling or fishing.
Old Preschool Classroom
Ms. Amy has a Degree in Early Childhood Development and has about 20 years of experience. Ms. Amy loves to listen to her little ones in the classroom, she likes to watch the process of their learning through out the year. The highlight of her day is to greet the children in the morning. Ms. Amy has been with WAU since 2017.
Kindergarten Readiness Classroom
Ms. Sarah went to College at St. Paul Tech and has a degree in Sign Language. She volunteered at a Childcare Center for school and eventually got hired as a substitute teacher. It was then when she fell in love with being a teacher. She loves seeing children grow and learn new things everyday. Ms. Sarah has been with WAU since 2021.
