Hi, I am Elisheba, ( a biblical name!) I am married and have 3 wonderful, energetic, thriving and creative children. I have years of work experience and education in the early childhood development field. I am part of the team at World Around Us. I respect and agree with Rebecca Garber-Churchill (owner) core values and love how their ultimate goal is to always bring out the best in each child.

What does a typical day at WAU look like for you? A typical day for me at World Around Us starts with dropping off my own children and greeting all the classrooms ensuring that teachers are set and prepared for the day. I visit with the children and get to listen to all the wonderful cute stories they share with me. Further throughout the day I also greet families and help them with anything they and their child may need. Rebecca has created a great team and we are like a little family and love knowing and caring for all of our families.
What's the most rewarding part of your job? That is an easy answer: receiving hugs & love from the children. The best part is watching a child struggling with a task and then one day it clicks and the look on their face is priceless. I also love watching the team of teachers thrive to teach and make a difference in every child's daily lives.
What do you miss most about being a child? Being carefree and exploring the outdoors with my friends. Although, as an adult now I can do this with my own family which is way more fun and memorable.
What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time? I can literally watch documentaries all day! I love learning and sharing my knowledge.
