Toddler Program: 16 Months-32 Months
Welcome to our Toddler Program serving ages 16 months to 32 months. We are licensed for 19 Toddlers with 3 teachers at the North St. Paul location. The White Bear Lake Location has two small toddler classrooms. One has 8 children and the second class has 10 little ones. The teacher to child ratio is 1:6.
We offer a variety of learning experiences that include physical, intellectual, social and emotional development. Our philosophy rests on the promise that each child is a unique and special individual with varying interest, needs and abilities. We strive to prepare an environment which will help children develop to their fullest potential.
Our Toddler Room provides a balance of self-directed and teacher directed learning. We learn English, Sign Language and Spanish. We have group time each day, art, discover time, large and small muscle time and much more!!! We are learning letters, numbers, shapes, colors and social skills.

Our teachers all attend training on a monthly basis and hold at least a two year degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. We train all of our teachers and assistant teachers in First Aid and CPR on a yearly basis.
The Toddler room allows your child a safe environment in which to learn to walk, share, and grow. The curriculum we use is from Creative Curriculum. It includes stories, songs, activities, and daily assessments. Our curriculum is filled with songs and stories that will uplift and educate even the most diverse learners. The Parents of World Around Us can also go to www.creativecurriculum.net and monitor their child's progress and take part in the assessment process. This allows you to become a key player in your child’s education. In addition, don’t forget that you can also view your child's classroom through the World Around Us Web Camera system. This allows you to see your child learning and playing all day long.
Our daily schedule includes a trip outside, group time, story time, singing, finger plays, dancing, art and much more! World Around Us provides two meals and a snack, depending upon our child's schedule. The only things you need to provide are diapers, wipes, a change of clothes and a blanket for nap time.
