Our Teachers
All of our lead teachers have received training from a variety of sites, conferences, community and technical colleges, universities, and on-site trainers. Each of our teachers receive 60 hours of on-going training each year. In addition, each of the teachers and assistant teachers have CPR and First Aid training on an annual basis.

Infant RoomsMs. Teresa
Ms. Teresa works at our White Bear Lake center and has her Bachelors in Child Development. She has 25 years of experience working with children as well as two teenage daughters. Her hobbies include camping, selling Avon products and spending time with her husband and children.
Ms. Cindy
Ms. CIndy works works at our St. Paul location and has her Associates in Early Childhood Education. She has more than 25 years of experience in the childcare industry, including 5 children ranging from 14 years to their late 20's. Her hobbies include scrap booking, reading, gardening, and camping with her family.
Ms. Melissa
Ms. Melissa has a Bachelors in Family Social Science/Early Childhood Education. She has had 4 years of experience in early childhood education through the University of Minnesota child care center. Her hobbies include reading, learning, experiencing different cultures around the world through traveling, and ballet dancing.
Ms. Becky
Ms. Becky is currently working on her degree in Early Childhood Education. She is the assistant in our toddler program at our St. Paul location and is very loving and maternal. Her hobbies include rollerblading, softball and discovering what children love to learn.
Ms. June
Ms. June has a degree in Early Childhood Education and has worked with child for more than 6 years. She has two children and loves spending time with her husband and two boys. Her hobbies include scrap booking, baking, crochet, and quality family time. She is very involved with her community and devoted to teaching children.
Ms. Amanda
With a Bachelors in Early Child Development, Ms. Amanda has worked with children for 4 years. Her hobbies include shopping, being with family and friends, reading and swimming.
Ms. Patty
Ms. Patty has worked with children for more than 15 years and has 4 of her own children. Her hobbies include cross stitching, puzzles, reading, and road trips with her family. She is devoted to teaching children.
Ms. Dawn & Ms. Lisa
Ms. Dawn is part of the management team and has worked with World Around Us for more than 10 years.
Ms. Lisa has been with us for more than 10 years as well.
Julie & Ms. Shari
Julie and Ms. Shari are our Educational Coordinators and are devoted to the quality of intentional teaching of our children.
Ms. Becca - Owner
Ms. Becca is the owner and part of the management team. She has her Masters in Child Development and Business. She started World Around Us in 1992 with only one childcare center in North St. Paul. She loves the daily activities of her centers and enjoys watching the children and teachers grow. Her devotion to the quality of the early childhood education has grown with World Around Us. She is an active member of her community and is also involved in the legislation through child care works.
